YOUTH & ADULT CONFIRMATION

Youth & Adult Confirmation

The pathway to the Sacrament of Confirmation for those under 18 is a 2 year program. A student may only miss up to a maximum of 2 classes per year, otherwise the year will have to be made up the following year. Students must also complete service hours and life night requirements that vary by year. In addition to the service hour and life night requirements Confirmation 2 students must attend a Confirmation Retreat in order to receive their Sacrament.
In order to begin the Confirmation Program students must be 16 by April 1st of the year of Confirmation per Diocesan Policy.
For example, for student to begin the Confirmation program in Fall 2023 they must be 15 by April 1st, 2024.

Adult Confirmation is for those who have been baptized. This program is typically 1 year but is overall based on readiness to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Attendance is crucial and students may only have two unexcused absences to complete program in the first year.
