Unite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Recitation of the Rosary. No experience required. Mentors provided. Contact the coordinators for meeting dates/times.
The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. Frist Friday of the month- Mass is at 6pm, and adoration follows until 8 pm.
Helps to advise the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Assist the pastor in monitoring income and expenses, and helping to approve the annual budgets.
The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.
Held Friday evenings at 5:30PM in the Church during Lent followed by soup and sharing in the Hall.
Volunteers who greet parishioners as they enter the church. They also assist people to their seat if necessary, and take up the collection. Must be fingerprinted, per the Diocese of San Bernardino.
We currently serve High School aged students and intend to foster community, service, refuge and support for the youths of today.
Boys and girls who assist the priest at the liturgy. Must have received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.
Preparing parents and godparents for the formation of their child’s faith. Parishioners must be registered for at least THREE months in the parish. Packets must be entirely filled out and returned to the parish office along with a copy of the child's birth certificate, and a stole fee. Godparents must be practicing Catholics and have copies of their Sacraments.
Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass, and to the sick and homebound. Must be fingerprinted, per the Diocese of San Bernardino.
Volunteers who assist the Sacristan in decorating the parish for special occasions and Holy days.
Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Training and workbooks are provided.
Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.
Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.
Duties include opening and closing of the parish. Preparing the Altar for Mass, preparing all liturgical items for the Mass, and assisting the priest/lay ministers during the Mass. Cleaning the Altar following Mass.
The Parish currently serves approximately 60 families who are in need, from our community every month. Distribution is the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 7:30-9:00 a.m. Please bring ID.
