Music Ministry

Pro-Life Rosary

Unite as a community praying the Rosary for the sanctity of all life from conception until natural death. Recitation of the Rosary. No experience required. Mentors provided. Contact the coordinators. Meet every Second Sunday of the month at 10:30 a.m. in the prayer garden.

Eucharistic Adoration

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. Frist Friday of the month-mass is at 7pm, and adoration follows until 9 pm.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Breavement Team

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.

Stations of the Cross

Held Friday evenings during Lent.

Usher/Usherette

Volunteers who greet parishioners as they enter the church. They also assist people to their seat if necessary, and take up the collection.

Youth Ministry

We currently serve High School aged students and intend to foster community, service, refuge and support for the youths of today.

Altar Server

Boys and girls who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Parishioners must be registered for at least THREE months in the parish. Packets must be entirely filled out and returned to the parish office along with a copy of the child's birth certificate, and a $50.00 donation. Godparents must be practicing Catholics and have copies of their Sacraments. 

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Fellowship Committee

Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

Flowers/Art and Environment

Volunteers who assist with decorating the parish for special occasions and Holy days. 

Lector

Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

Food Pantry

The Parish currently serves approximately 100 needy families from our community every month. Distribution is the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
